The Ptarmigan Academy is the student division of Ptarmigan Bell Pottinger, the Leeds-based PR consultancy.

This is the second year that Ptarmigan have decided to run the scheme which sees students from public relations degrees at Leeds Metropolitan University work as the Ptarmigan Academy.

Students from Leeds Metropolitan were this year were given a brief to develop a campaign for the Leeds Corn Exchange, with a particular focus on social media strategies. Participants were then asked to pitch their campaign ideas to Nathan Lane, Managing Director of Ptarmigan, Adam Burns, Junior Account Executive of Ptarmigan and last year’s academy winner, and Louise Smith, Manager of the Leeds Corn Exchange.

This year’s winners are now working alongside Ptarmigan for a number of clients including Challenge66The Leeds Corn Exchange and NAAFI.
